This is a remote position. 180 Recruitment Consultant (Rec to Rec) – US Recruitment Market Location: Remote South Africa Employment Type: Full-time About Our Client Our client is a growing specialist recruitment business supporting recruitment agencies across the United States. They are looking to appoint a proactive and driven 180 Recruitment Consultant to join their delivery team. This is a candidate-focused position where the successful individual will be responsible for identifying, engaging and delivering high-quality recruitment professionals into agency clients across the US market. Unlike traditional recruitment roles that rely heavily on job adverts and inbound applications, this opportunity is centred around proactive talent sourcing, market mapping and headhunting. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time identifying passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter and other search methods, building relationships and delivering exceptional talent to clients. The Role The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Account Managers and 360 Consultants, taking ownership of the candidate delivery process from initial search through to placement. They will be responsible for developing talent pipelines, approaching passive candidates and managing the recruitment process while delivering an outstanding candidate experience. Key Responsibilities Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Search, Boolean search techniques and other sourcing platforms. Conduct targeted headhunting campaigns to identify passive recruitment professionals. Build and maintain talent pipelines across multiple recruitment sectors. Carry out competency-based candidate interviews and qualification calls. Develop strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Produce high-quality candidate profiles for client submission. Coordinate interviews and manage feedback throughout the hiring process. Support offer management and candidate negotiations. Keep the CRM/ATS updated with accurate candidate information. Work towards agreed activity and delivery KPIs. The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for someone who is naturally inquisitive, proactive and enjoys finding talent that isn't actively looking for a new opportunity. The ideal candidate will be comfortable spending much of their day researching markets, approaching passive candidates and building long-term relationships rather than relying on job board applications. They will possess excellent communication skills, enjoy speaking with people and be motivated by delivering successful placements. Skills & Experience Previous recruitment, talent acquisition or candidate sourcing experience. Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or LinkedIn for candidate sourcing. Knowledge of Boolean search techniques and proactive sourcing methods. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple vacancies. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote setting. Desirable Experience Previous experience recruiting into the US market. Recruitment-to-Recruitment (Rec2Rec) experience. Experience recruiting within agency recruitment. Familiarity with ATS/CRM systems such as Bullhorn, Vincere or similar.
