Success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with a parent within moments of starting a conversation. You will thrive here if you are motivated by outreach, reliable in follow-up, and comfortable presenting an innovative learning model without depending on scripted language. If you tend to avoid phone-based communication or prefer positions that lack measurable performance outcomes, this role will not suit you.
Unbound Academy operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school offering students an alternative educational model. Core academics are completed during a concentrated time block with AI-supported learning, allowing students to dedicate the remainder of their day to real-world skill development through projects and enrichment activities. You will serve as the first significant point of contact for families considering this option.
Your weekly responsibilities will include responding promptly to new inquiries, supporting families as they navigate the admissions process, and advancing them from early interest to completed enrollment. You will also represent Unbound Academy at community events to generate prospective leads and raise awareness locally. During periods of reduced enrollment activity, you will assist with school operations while remaining prepared for the next admissions cycle.
If you are looking for a position where your communication skills, consistency, and accountability directly influence student enrollment outcomes, we would like to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing
• Reaching out to new inbound leads within 24 hours and opening admissions conversations via phone
• Describing Unbound Academy's virtual educational model and enrollment procedures in straightforward, accessible terms
• Maintaining regular follow-up to guide families from inquiry through application and into enrollment
• Recording all interactions in a CRM with detailed notes, action items, and pipeline status
• Planning and facilitating local recruitment events in Texas or Arizona to showcase the school and collect new leads
What You Won’t Be Doing
• Allowing inbound leads to remain uncontacted while you focus on administrative tasks
• Relying on rigid scripts or functioning like a high-volume call center representative
• Participating in events passively without actively presenting or capturing leads
• Dedicating most of your time to back-office responsibilities when enrollment activity is high
