- Prepare and send invoices and statements to clients based on service agreements or product deliveries
- Double-check billing details to ensure accuracy and alignment with company policies
- Partner with teams like account management and sales to sort out any billing discrepancies
- Keep accurate billing records and track outstanding invoices Help update billing schedules to ensure everything goes out on time
- Support monthly billing reports and assist in maintaining clean, up-to-date financial records Pitch in on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Assist with internal and external audits when needed Help with budget and forecast preparation
- Provide general administrative support to the Accounts Receivable team Communicate with clients and vendors to ensure smooth billing and payment processes
- Ensure all activities follow internal policies and accounting standards
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field-or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, finance, or related roles
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management
- Familiarity with accounting or invoicing tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- The base salary range is $45,000 (entry-level) - $55,000 (highly experienced), exclusive of fringe benefits. If you are hired at Scorpion, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the total salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
