Role Overview
The Forest Products Chain of Custody Auditor will conduct Chain of Custody audits for a network of clients, primarily working from a home office with 75% travel for on-site audits. The ideal candidate will be located in the Northeastern United States.
What You Will Do
Conduct robust and detailed Chain of Custody audits, generate high-quality audit reports, and communicate Chain of Custody requirements to clients. The Auditor will also assess management practices of organizations related to applicable certification standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing and/or quality assurance, with experience in the forest products sector. Proficiency in English and business software is required, and a driver's license is necessary for on-site audits.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional experience in the forest products sector
- OR high school certificate and four (4) years of professional experience in the forest products sector
- ISO training certification or willingness to complete the ISO training offered by SCS
- Fluency in English with work experience that involves professional and technical written communication in English
- Strong organization and prioritization skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong customer service and teamwork orientation
- Initiative, good judgment, ability to work independently, responsive, and adaptive personality
- Applied experience in auditing and/or quality assurance
- Proficient with business software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Information Communication Technology tools (Zoom, Skype, Microsoft Teams, etc.)
- Ability to travel domestically or on-site audits
