This is a remote position.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to support our client who runs property management operations. The ideal candidate has strong bookkeeping experience within the real estate/property management industry and is proficient in Village Management Software.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties
Process accounts payable and receivable, including rent collection and vendor payments
Reconcile bank statements, trust accounts, and general ledgers
Generate financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
Record and track tenant payments, deposits, and outstanding balances
Use Village Management Software for bookkeeping, reporting, and data management
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with financial policies and property management regulations
Requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, preferably in property management or real estate
Hands-on experience using Village Management Software is required
Strong understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping practices
Experience with bank and account reconciliations
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have:
Experience handling trust accounts or property-related financials
Familiarity with accounting tools such as QuickBooks or Xero
Ability to manage multiple properties or accounts
