Chief Technology Officer
Procurify is the AI-enhanced procurement and AP automation platform for mid-market organizations. We make it easy for organizations to take control of spend and save money. We're looking for a strategic technology leader with strong product sensibilities to join Procurify as Chief Technology Officer.
ABOUT THE ROLEAs CTO, you’ll partner closely with the CEO and executive team to define and execute our technology strategy, scale our R&D organization, and evolve our platform for the next phase of growth. You’ll bring a strong engineering foundation and a pragmatic mindset, combined with a deep appreciation for customer impact, product thinking, and business alignment. A key focus will be leading the adoption of AI—both in how we enhance our product with intelligent, insight-driven features, and in how we improve our own internal processes and decision-making.

What you'll be working on
Define and champion a long-term technology vision—balancing innovation, platform health, and delivery speed.
Lead a cross-functional R&D organization—partnering closely across Engineering, Product, Design, and Data.
Oversee product development and delivery processes, ensuring we build with quality, speed, and real customer value in mind.
Lead our AI strategy—identifying emerging technologies, building agentic workflows and insight-driven features into the product, and guiding the adoption of AI into our own engineering practices.
Guide the evolution of our infrastructure and codebase—modernizing systems to support scale, security, and velocity.
Drive structural improvements in productivity, observability, and team effectiveness—building technical capital and reducing architectural drag.
Provide strategic leadership to a capable engineering management team—investing in systems that support their growth, alignment, and long-term success.
Foster a culture of ownership and accountability, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
Represent Procurify’s technology vision externally—with investors, strategic partners, and customers.
Who we’re looking for
10+ years in engineering and product development, with 5+ in senior leadership roles in B2B SaaS.
Experience leading Engineering, with strong partnership (or ownership) of Product and Design functions.
Experience with procurement, finance, and/or spend management products with integrations into ERPs (think Office of the CFO).
Strong technical foundation with product instincts—an ability to drive both the “how” and the “why” behind what gets built.
Experience working in or adjacent to fintech - especially with procurement, payments, or finance-adjacent platforms.
Track record of building and shipping software for mid-market customers—balancing configurability, UX, and delivery speed.
Hands-on experience embedding AI/ML into products or workflows—especially agentic workflows that drive business value.
A thoughtful, candid leader who can build trust across disciplines, rally teams through change, and model long-term thinking.
