We are seeking an experienced independent contractor with advanced QuickBooks Online expertise to assist with a short-term accounting cleanup and financial reconstruction project. This is a contract engagement only and is not an employee position.
Project Scope
Review previous transactions (primarily journal entries).
Research, document, and remove those transactions in accordance with our remediation plan.
Compare historical trial balances to identify and resolve variances affecting prior years.
Maintain a complete audit trail of all changes.
Create and preserve a QuickBooks Online export/recovery point before each phase of the cleanup.
Experience
Expert-level QuickBooks Online experience.
Experience with historical accounting cleanups, and audit support.
Able to work independently with minimal direction.
Detail-oriented and comfortable working with prior-period transactions.
We already have a remediation plan. We are looking for a contractor to execute the plan accurately and efficiently—not to determine the cause.
