Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and empathetic Customer Service Representative to join our Princeton, NJ team. This role is a hybrid position that combines the flexibility of remote work with occasional on‑site collaboration at our Princeton office. You will be the first point of contact for careerzynith Medicaid and Medicare members and their providers, delivering accurate information, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a consistently excellent experience.
Key Details
- Location: Must reside within 50 miles of Princeton, NJ.
- Training Schedule (First 6 weeks): 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday‑Friday.
- Production Schedule (After Training): 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday‑Friday.
- Work Mode: Primarily remote; occasional office visits required for technical or collaborative needs.
- Compensation: $17.00 – $34.15 per hour, based on experience, education, and performance.
Core Responsibilities
As a Member Service Representative, you will be responsible for a wide range of inbound calls and related tasks. Your daily duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Answering inbound member and provider calls with professionalism and empathy.
- Providing clear, accurate information on benefits, eligibility, and coverage details for careerzynith Medicaid and Medicare programs.
- Assisting providers with credentialing updates, enrollment changes, and request for identification cards.
- Explaining prior‑authorization requirements, extra benefits, wellness programs, and other value‑added services.
- Documenting each interaction in careerzynith’s CRM system, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.
- Meeting or exceeding established performance metrics, including average handle time, first‑call resolution, and quality scores.
- Utilizing high‑speed, wired internet connectivity (ethernet only) to maintain secure and reliable communication channels.
- Participating in ongoing training sessions, role‑plays, and knowledge‑base updates to stay current on policy changes.
- Escalating complex or unresolved issues to senior team members or specialized departments while maintaining ownership of the customer experience.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
- Ability to commute to the Princeton office when required.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity, active listening, and empathy.
- Self‑discipline and the ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time and workload effectively.
