As a Director in our Capital Markets team, you will be a key leader in one of the most dynamic global hubs in this fast-paced market. You will be instrumental in driving significant liquidity and trading volume on our platform, directly contributing to Hiive's strategic growth by cultivating and expanding relationships with premier global venture capital investors and institutions.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
Becoming an expert on the secondary market for pre-IPO securities; understanding market dynamics, key participants, and the role of Hiive.
Developing and growing strategic relationships with institutional and ultra-high net worth investors by bringing all of Hiive’s investment capabilities to the market.
Prospecting and engaging potential customers through strategic calling, targeted sales campaigns, and personalized outreach efforts to drive sales growth.
Leading the coordination and execution of complex, large-scale institutional transactions through Hiive's proprietary platform..
Solidifying Hiive’s position as the dominant venue for secondary trading by unlocking and expanding into new markets.
Seamlessly delivering the value of Hiive to issuers by collaborating with our Execution Services, Funds, and Private Capital Solutions teams.
Mentoring and developing junior team members, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment within the Capital Markets team.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a highly driven, influential leader with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a strong sense of urgency, a superior work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and outstanding strategic and organizational abilities.
Have a proven track record of success that includes building deep relationships and fostering trust with institutional or ultra-high net worth investors.
Bring 6+ years of experience in investment sales, mutual fund sales, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate development, or institutional sales and trading.
Have a relevant educational background, such as a commerce or economics degree, or exceptional academic performance in a liberal arts or science program.
FINRA Series 7 and 63 licensed or the ability to complete the registrations shortly after hiring.
