Job Overview
In this exciting role, you will be responsible for providing customer service over the phone, obtaining complete and accurate information, and assisting customers in a timely manner. You will also dispatch calls to technicians and perform various administrative duties, utilizing our state-of-the-art Service Titan software to effectively plan and dispatch jobs. As a key member of our team, you will proactively communicate with customers regarding estimated arrival times, technician details, and other important information, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound phone calls to schedule jobs and handle customer service inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Initiate outbound phone calls for scheduling of service calls, ensuring timely and efficient communication with customers
- Handle various customer inquiries and requests efficiently and accurately, providing exceptional customer service and support
- Dispatch the correct technician to each job, based on qualifications, geography, customer preference, and other relevant factors
- Utilize Service Titan software to effectively plan and dispatch jobs, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimizing delays
- Proactively communicate with customers regarding estimated arrival times, technician details, and other important information, keeping them informed and up-to-date
- Communicate with technicians regarding availability, expected completion time, and other relevant details, ensuring seamless coordination and execution
- Ensure accuracy of details (customer name, phone number, address, etc.) on all scheduled calls, maintaining high standards of data integrity and attention to detail
- Perform a variety of administrative duties as requested by your direct supervisor and other managers in the company, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities, including:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a customer service environment
- Previous dispatch experience is a plus, with familiarity with the surrounding Chicagoland area an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, technicians, and other stakeholders
- Plumbing, Electric & HVAC experience is a plus, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and challenges
- Attention to detail, with the ability to manage priorities and workflow in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels, demonstrating empathy, understanding, and cultural sensitivity
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities, with a positive and proactive attitude
