**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Business Analyst, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop data-driven solutions to drive business growth and profitability. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a Business Analyst at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
* Pre-and post-examination of client programs, business initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing campaigns to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for business growth.
* Investigating the execution of various pilot projects while following a testing methodology (e.g., A/B Testing).
* Maintaining and updating required tools and software in accordance with business needs, such as BPM or Course Planning models.
* Identifying errors, irregularities, and gaps in reporting and processes, and providing solutions to address these issues.
* Proactively searching for patterns and trends in data to identify areas for improvement or opportunities for growth.
* Supporting the development and improvement of arenaflex tools and processes to drive business growth and profitability.
* Modeling business scenarios based on analyzed data and business needs/requirements.
* Providing ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed, and developing business case outlines.
* Any other related and assigned tasks.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations, Marketing, Finance, or a related field, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or estimation.
* Experience in management consulting or design thinking is highly desirable.
* Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and data modeling.
* Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
* Familiarity with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Microsoft Power BI.
* Proficiency in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of financial and accounting principles.
* Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects and priorities.
* Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Strong change management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of projects and tasks.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, macros, and SQL.
* Experience with statistical analysis using R or a similar tool.
* Familiarity with data mining and sales reporting tools, such as Edge Minder or similar software.
* Knowledge of SharePoint and other collaboration tools.
* Functional understanding of sales, delivery, warehouse, and production processes.
* Project management or support experience.
