Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with specialists, software developers, and business leaders to define business processes and provide scientific support
- Utilize coding skills to analyze complex datasets, design, develop, and evaluate data transformations to solve specific business problems
- Build flexible, efficient, and automated data cycles to facilitate client-facing reporting
- Automate TA cycles to streamline business operations
- Communicate verbally or in writing to business clients/initiatives to share insights and recommendations
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
- 3+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), or statistical/numerical programming (e.g., R, SAS, Matlab, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and methods, and parameters that influence their performance
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- A Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analysis, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science
- Experience in a Machine Learning or Data Scientist role with a large technology company
