About the Role
As a Bank and Credit Union Contact Center Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch support to customers and members of our financial institution clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a variety of software products, develop your skills, and advance your career within our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to financial institution clients' customers and members, similar to an over-the-phone personal banker.
- Assess and resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner, with guidance from our financial institution clients.
- Verify customer/member information prior to performing any modifications or resets, according to the financial institution client's security requirements, to ensure system security.
- Communicate customers' needs and expectations to the appropriate personnel and follow escalation procedures to ensure complex support issues are resolved.
- May perform other job duties as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
- Ability to adhere to a published break and lunch schedule, with a focus on schedule adherence.
- Proven ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems while assisting customers/members.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and understandably articulate information.
- Full-time candidates must be able to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, in a 24/7 call center environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer service and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to listen to and empathize with customers/members.
- Experience using tools and systems to achieve first-call resolution.
- Self-motivated, with a focus on career development and growth.
- Experience in the call center, banking, or credit union industries.
