Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute data analysis projects, including data mining, text analysis, and quantitative modeling to drive business decisions
- Apply statistical analysis techniques to examine structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, gaining insights into key business issues and opportunities
- Develop solutions from concept to production, communicating results to a wide range of audiences, including senior leadership
- Utilize current and emerging technologies to assess trends, develop meaningful insights, and provide recommendations to senior leadership
- Apply data-driven decision-making, using data analysis, statistical modeling, and quantitative techniques to drive business outcomes
- Guide junior staff, participate in cross-functional projects, and present to senior leadership
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Operations Research, Economics, or Finance
- At least 3 years of work experience in data analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analytics
- Proficiency in analysis software and applications, such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical audiences
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or coursework with SAFE Agile
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R, and automation tools
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling techniques
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial analysis
