About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Security Risk Engineer and Data Analyst to play a key role in developing and implementing a comprehensive strategic vision for our risk management program. As a crucial member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with various groups across the organization, driving the development of risk measurement, statistical models, and impact analysis to build our confidence in risk response activities. Your expertise in data analysis and risk management will enable us to make informed decisions, reduce vulnerability, and respond to technology risks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management program that advances risk measurement, statistical models, and impact analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, and develop effective control plans
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management to inform risk-based decision-making
- Design and implement key risk indicators, contribute to the development of key control indicators, and key performance indicators for various programs
- Apply statistical models to risk structures, including FAIR, Monte-Carlo with Spunky distributions, sensitivity analysis, and others
- Utilize programming languages such as R, Python, SQL, and others to analyze and interpret complex data sets
- Develop and maintain expertise in data security risk management, including the ability to foster loss event scenarios across operating organizations, specialty units, projects, and products
- Interpret internal or external cybersecurity risk assessments in business terms and recommend a course of action
- Develop templates and educational materials to support self-service risk management activities based on defined risk tolerances
- Monitor and identify opportunities to improve the effectiveness of risk management processes
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics
- Proven experience in risk management, data analysis, and statistical modeling
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, including R, Python, SQL, and others
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and develop effective solutions
