Role Overview
We are seeking a Family Attorney to join our law firm for contract work. The role involves providing legal counsel, performing legal research, drafting documents, and updating and maintaining files. The attorney will work closely with administrative staff, colleagues, and senior partners to provide excellent legal services to clients.
What You Will Do
Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents, conduct legal research, prepare for and attend legal proceedings, divide marital assets, provide legal counsel, negotiate on behalf of clients, maintain client records, and supervise paralegals and administrative assistants.

This is a remote position that requires a self-starter with experience in family law. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, and strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Bar exam
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
- Ability to represent both plaintiffs and defendants
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues
