Financial Representative

Mikhael Paul Wealth Management is an investment adviser focused on helping clients achieve their financial goals. The Financial Representative plays a vital role in supporting seniors through education, organization, and financial preparedness, ensuring they are protected from financial harm while maintaining clear communication and building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

• Educate seniors on financial scam and fraud prevention
• Assist seniors with organizing personal and financial documents, including benefits, insurance, wills, trusts, and estate materials
• Create and maintain a Legacy Binder to ensure families can easily locate critical information
• Review beneficiary designations and identify missing or outdated information
• Provide guidance on retirement income and required distributions to help prevent errors and penalties
• Assist with credit review, cleanup, and financial hygiene when necessary
• Support families after a senior’s passing by helping ensure required documentation is submitted correctly and financial tasks are handled appropriately
• Help families understand inherited obligations and ensure debts are addressed properly and fairly
• Serve as an advocate to help protect families from potential financial exploitation, including unfair practices by vendors or service providers
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in accordance with privacy and data-handling policies
• Collaborate with nonprofit partners and MKPWM advisors to ensure consistent, ongoing senior support

Skills

• Must have ACTIVE Life and Health Insurance License
• Background in finance, insurance, banking, social services, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor when working with seniors and families
• Understanding of basic financial, estate, and benefits concepts (training provided)
• Ability to explain complex topics in a clear, non-technical manner
• Commitment to ethical standards, confidentiality, and senior advocacy
