Job Description
Are you a native Italian speaker who loves sharing your language and culture? Mondosol is looking for an enthusiastic Italian Language Teacher to join our global community of educators. This is a fully remote, freelance role — you set your own hours and teach from anywhere in the world. What You Will Do:
Deliver engaging one-on-one and small group Italian lessons via Google Meet
Design personalized lesson plans based on each student’s level, goals, and learning style
Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to help students grow with confidence
Track each student’s progress and adapt your teaching approach accordingly
Contribute to a warm, inclusive online learning community
Share Italian culture and traditions as part of the learning experience
Qualifications
Must Have:
Native or near-native Italian speaker (C1/C2 level or higher)
Strong communication skills and genuine patience with learners
Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace
Computer, webcam, and microphone in good working order
Ability to teach via Google Meet
Nice to Have:
Experience teaching Italian as a foreign language (formal or informal)
Teaching certification (DITALS, CEDILS, or equivalent)
Familiarity with communicative or immersive language teaching methods
Experience working with students across different time zones
