Job Summary:
Floor & Decor values its Retail Sales Clerks for their critical role in ensuring customers leave the store feeling satisfied with their purchases and overall shopping experience. As a key member of our team, you will:
- Connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized recommendations to drive sales and customer satisfaction
- Offer exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a safe and organized store environment, ensuring assigned areas are clutter-free, well-stocked, and compliant with company safety protocols
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to achieve sales quotas, share knowledge, and drive business growth
- Utilize our point-of-sale (POS) system to complete customer transactions, process returns and exchanges, and manage payments
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to our company's values, safety protocols, and customer service standards

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Basic math skills and proficiency in customer service
- Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain attention to detail
- Forklift certification via F&D may be required for certain job positions
- Heavy equipment certification requires a drug test to be cleared, as per state laws
Physical/Sensory Requirements:
- Lifting and manipulating objects up to 60 pounds occasionally, or 20-30 pounds frequently
- Handling and feeling objects using hands and fingers
- Prolonged standing, walking, and balancing while performing tasks
