Position Summary We are looking for a Junior Immigration Attorney to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with up to two years of experience who is interested in building a career in immigration law. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and legal staff to support a variety of immigration matters, including family-based immigration, employment-based petitions, adjustment of status applications, naturalization, waivers, asylum matters, and other immigration-related cases. Training and mentorship will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about immigration law and client advocacy. Key Responsibilities • Conduct legal research related to U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and policies. • Prepare and review immigration petitions, applications, supporting documents, and legal correspondence. • Assist in managing family-based and employment-based immigration cases. • Support case preparation for interviews, hearings, and immigration proceedings. • Draft legal memoranda, responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), motions, declarations, and other legal documents. • Communicate with clients regarding case status, documentation requirements, and legal processes. • Collaborate with paralegals and administrative staff to ensure timely case filings and compliance with deadlines. • Review case documentation for accuracy and completeness. • Stay current on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and agency procedures. • Participate in client consultations under the supervision of senior attorneys. • Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards. Required Qualifications • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. • Licensed to practice law in any U.S. state or eligible for admission to the Arizona Bar. • Strong interest in immigration law and client advocacy. • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills. • Strong verbal and written communication abilities. • High attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment. • Professional, empathetic, and client-centered approach. Preferred Qualifications • 0–2 years of legal experience. • Prior exposure to immigration law through internships, clinics, clerkships, or volunteer work. • Experience working with multicultural and international clients. • Spanish language proficiency is highly preferred. • Familiarity with USCIS, EOIR, DOS, and related immigration agencies is a plus. • Experience using immigration case management software is a plus.
