Our program is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, emphasizing child-led inquiry, collaborative learning, and the belief that children are capable, competent, and full of potential.​ Duties Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Education Professional to join our team. In this role, you will:​ Lead a mixed-age classroom, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment. Implement and adapt the Reggio Emilia-inspired curriculum to meet the developmental needs and interests of each child. Document children's learning processes through observations and reflections. Collaborate with co-teachers, families, and the community to create a cohesive learning experience. Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.​ Requirements Minimum Qualifications: CDA or AA/BA in ECE; or a Non-ECE BA with 15 ECE credits and 1 year of experience. Or Bachelor's degree in any major. Strong written and oral communication skills. Thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of Early Childhood Education. Nice To Haves Preferred Qualifications: Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. 1+ years of experience working within an ECE setting. Training in and experience with Virginia’s Quality Initiatives, NAEYC, Reggio Emilia Inspired learning models, and Creative Curriculum. Multilingual and multicultural demographics.
