We are a startup and this role is a founder-led, reporting directly to the CEO. Role Description This is a part-time remote position for a Medical Research Intern . The intern will engage in conducting medical research, contributing to medical affairs initiatives, and assisting in literature reviews and data analysis. Daily tasks include leading research projects, organizing and preparing findings, and collaborating with the CEO and Care Coordinator to advance the understanding of relevant medical topics. The position serves as an excellent opportunity for individuals pursuing careers in healthcare or medical research. Overview The Medical Research Intern will lead and support the development of research frameworks, scoring methodologies, operational models, and patient journey systems that will help shape the future of concierge healthcare and care navigation at Compass Health. Over the course of 3 months, the intern will be responsible for researching, building, and presenting four major strategic healthcare initiatives. Preferred Backgrounds: • Pre-med • Public Health • Healthcare Administration • MBA students • Biomedical Sciences • Data Analytics • Health Informatics • Economics or Finance with healthcare interest Preferred Skills • Strong research and writing abilities • Data analysis and spreadsheet modeling • Presentation development • Critical thinking and synthesis of complex information • Familiarity with healthcare systems is a plus • Experience with Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, or Tableau preferred Internship Outcomes At the completion of the internship, the candidate will have: • Led strategic healthcare research initiatives • Built real-world healthcare operational frameworks • Presented findings to leadership • Contributed directly to innovative healthcare system design • Gained exposure to concierge medicine, healthcare operations, and executive-level strategy
