Stellar Consulting Solutions, LLC is seeking a highly accomplished Advisory Sales Consultant to drive strategic business development, client engagement, and account growth for their Supply Chain and Procurement Consulting practice. The role involves engaging with C-level executives, identifying opportunities, and developing solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets across new and existing accounts
- Identify, qualify, and close consulting engagements focused on Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, and Digital Transformation
- Build trusted advisor relationships with executive stakeholders including Chief Supply Chain Officers, Chief Procurement Officers, COOs, CIOs, and business leaders
- Lead a consultative sales process by understanding client business objectives, identifying pain points, and positioning tailored advisory and consulting solutions
- Drive a "land and expand" strategy by growing existing client relationships through cross-selling and upselling additional consulting services
- Partner with consulting, delivery, and solution teams to develop compelling proposals, statements of work, and executive presentations
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from prospecting through contract negotiation and successful handoff to delivery teams
- Develop account plans, identify whitespace opportunities, and execute long-term account growth strategies
- Maintain an active pipeline and accurate sales forecasts using CRM tools
- Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and executive briefings
- Stay current on industry trends including Supply Chain Transformation, Procurement Excellence, AI, Digital Supply Chain, Intelligent Automation, ESG, and emerging technologies
Skills
- 10–15+ years of experience selling consulting or professional services
- Demonstrated success selling Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or Digital Transformation consulting engagements
- Experience working for a consulting organization or advisory services firm
- Proven record of winning new business while expanding strategic enterprise accounts
- Strong consultative selling skills with experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles
- Experience managing executive relationships within Fortune 1000 organizations
- Excellent business development, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
- Ability to develop account strategies that drive long-term client growth
- Strong understanding of enterprise transformation initiatives and business process optimization
- Bachelor's degree required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
