Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is a recruiter seeking an Analytics Application Engineer to support and advance an internal reporting platform. This role involves application engineering, data integration, and analytics development to deliver reliable dashboards and actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Develop, support, and improve a custom Next.js application that provides interactive dashboards, reusable reports, and performance metrics for internal teams
- Oversee the TypeScript-based data ingestion process that brings Salesforce and Litify information into PostgreSQL, with a focus on accuracy, consistency, and timely updates
- Structure and maintain the reporting database environment, including curated views, application-managed tables, historical metric records, and dashboard settings
- Administer deployments and recurring platform operations through Firebase hosting and GitHub Actions, while monitoring job health and resolving processing issues
- Configure and maintain authentication and authorization controls in Firebase to protect access to internal reporting tools
- Partner with business stakeholders to convert reporting needs into efficient queries, scalable data models, and user-friendly dashboard designs
- Investigate data or application issues across the reporting stack and implement fixes that improve reliability and performance
Skills
- At least 3 years of experience working within Salesforce and Litify environments
- At least 3 years of experience in legal services, service-focused settings, or operational analytics environments
- At least 3 years of development experience using TypeScript and Next.js or React
- At least 3 years of hands-on work with relational databases in production environments, with PostgreSQL experience strongly preferred
- At least 3 years of experience building or supporting data integration pipelines and connecting with external APIs, including Salesforce
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, scheduled automation, and cloud-based application hosting such as GitHub Actions and Firebase
- Demonstrated ability to work across front-end, back-end, and data layers in a single application ecosystem
- Experience with dashboard design, visualization tools, or Salesforce certifications is a plus
