Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Local Fiber helps regional Internet Service Providers grow and manage partner-driven sales. The Business Development Lead will focus on signing ISP customers by leveraging existing relationships and understanding the broadband market.
Responsibilities
- Introduce Local Fiber to regional ISPs, fiber providers, WISPs, cable operators, and broadband groups
- Open doors with ISP owners, executives, GMs, sales leaders, marketing leaders, and operations teams
- Help identify providers that need better sales infrastructure, channel sales workflows, serviceability tools, order management, attribution, reporting, or payout automation
- Support qualified opportunities through discovery, follow-up, contract, and onboarding
- Share market feedback from ISP operators, including objections, buying cycles, budget timing, and competitive noise
Skills
- You already sell into, advise, consult with, or broker relationships with regional ISPs
- You have relationships with ISP decision-makers
- You understand broadband, fiber, WISP, cable, telecom, or managed service provider markets
- You represent or have represented OSS/BSS providers, telecom vendors, broadband equipment companies, marketing services, call center services, consulting firms, or other ISP-focused products
- You are comfortable working independently with a lean startup team
- You want to add a sticky broadband software platform to your current book of business
