Cypress HCM is seeking an experienced Cloudflare Zero Trust Implementation Engineer to support the deployment and configuration of Cloudflare Zero Trust technologies within a large enterprise environment. The role involves hands-on work with enterprise security platforms, driving technical initiatives, and creating documentation to ensure operational success.
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and support Cloudflare Zero Trust services within an enterprise environment
- Assist in rollout planning, implementation activities, and end-user adoption efforts
- Work closely with infrastructure, networking, security, and project teams to execute implementation milestones
- Configure and maintain Cloudflare platform components while resolving technical issues throughout deployment
- Support the transition from traditional remote connectivity solutions to Zero Trust-based access models
- Review existing remote access environments and contribute recommendations for modernization and security improvements
- Produce technical documentation including deployment procedures, configuration standards, operational runbooks, and support documentation
- Help implement access policies and maintain platform configurations in alignment with organizational security requirements
- Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability and user experience
- Communicate project updates, implementation risks, and technical recommendations to project teams and stakeholders
- Provide technical knowledge transfer and operational guidance to internal support organizations
- Coordinate with vendor support teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex platform-related issues
Skills
- Demonstrated experience implementing and administering Cloudflare Zero Trust solutions within enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of Cloudflare technologies including Access, Gateway, Tunnel, WARP, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure deployments, migrations, or large-scale technology implementation projects
- Ability to independently manage assigned infrastructure deployments, migrations, or large-scale technology implementation projects
- Ability to independently manage assigned work while identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Strong written communication skills with experience producing clear technical documentation
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across multiple technical disciplines and work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting user enablement, platform adoption, or technology rollout initiatives
- Working knowledge of Zero Trust principles and modern security architectures
- Background supporting enterprise firewall or network security platforms
- Experience with secure remote access technologies, VPN replacement initiatives, or access modernization projects
- Previous involvement working alongside third-party technology vendors during implementation engagements
- Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts and security infrastructure
- Exposure to cloud security platforms, identity-based access solutions, or broader infrastructure modernization efforts
