Enriched Academy is dedicated to making financial freedom accessible to everyone through engaging personal financial management education. The Cross-Border Financial Planning Coach will work directly with clients in Canada and the USA, providing personalized financial coaching and supporting them in navigating various financial scenarios using the company's curriculum and tools.
Responsibilities
- Delivering one-on-one Financial Coaching to clients
- This includes the 60-minute virtual session along with preparation and follow up notes after the meeting
- Reschedule/manage appointments with clients
- Update pertinent client information into the CRM/SharePoint Files
- Proactively reach out to unresponsive or no-show clients
- Collect feedback and testimonials from clients
- Use EA-approved content and tools
- Ensure coaching aligns with measurable client outcomes (e.g., reduced debt, increased savings, improved financial literacy), tracking client outcomes such as debt reduction, improved budgeting, or goal completion
- Maintain client confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in line with FP Canada/USA and Enriched Academy guidelines
- Collaborate on curriculum tools, resources, or assignments
- Participate or collaborate in continuous improvement discussions on process, communication, and curriculum alignment
- Attend monthly meetings with entire EA team
- Attend 60-minute quarterly coaching meeting to review KPIs and discuss performance
- Attend 60-minute monthly coaching team meeting to review updates and collaborate
- Work cross-functionally with the Enriched Academy Education, Association & Corporations, and Marketing teams to improve client engagement and retention
- Adhere to data privacy, FDE, and ethical guidelines as set by Enriched Academy and FP Canada/AFCPE standards
- Ensure all advice remains educational and not product-specific or investment advisory

- Expertise in financial coaching across Canadian and U.S. contexts
- Ethical Integrity: Deep understanding of fiduciary and ethical standards in financial coaching

- Tech Comfort: Ability to use CRM systems, scheduling tools, and client-facing platforms efficiently
- Adaptability: Comfortable coaching clients with diverse financial situations (students, professionals, families, retirees)
- Metrics Mindset: Familiar with KPIs such as client retention, satisfaction (NPS), and outcome tracking
- You are continuously leveling up through self-education via reading, audio books, podcasts and/or courses
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Required: CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) with specialization in Cross-Border (Canada/U.S.) planning
- Minimum 5+ years of financial coaching, counselling, or planning experience (Canadian market experience required)
- Evening and weekend availability may be required
- Preference will be given to candidates located in Canada, but applicants residing in the USA are also encouraged to apply
