They are seeking an Energy Engineer (EE) to provide services and support for energy projects, including renewable energy systems and energy efficiency measures, primarily for clients such as the U.S. Department of Energy and NASA.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement energy efficiency and renewable energy projects
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of energy engineering experience
- Engineering degree from a four-year college or university
- Expertise in energy modeling and simulation software
- Experience with project management and construction oversight
- Familiarity with ESPC regulations and technical requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills for effective team management
- Outstanding time management and prioritization abilities to meet project milestones
- Adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities
- Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Understanding and proficiency with business tools and technology, including Microsoft Office
- 10 years of relevant experience
- PE, CEM, or LEED Certification
