They are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive on the API team to own the full sales cycle for complex technical deals, driving revenue by prospecting and closing enterprise API deals with various stakeholders in the insurance and insurtech sectors.
Responsibilities
- Drive net-new revenue by prospecting, qualifying, and closing enterprise API deals with insurers, MGAs, technology vendors, and insurtechs
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end. From outbound sourcing and discovery through technical scoping, commercial negotiation, and contract execution
- Partner closely with Solutions Consulting to deliver compelling product demonstrations and architect API integration use cases tailored to each prospect's environment
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships across technical and business stakeholders
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline, all while forecasting accurately in Salesforce and maintaining clear stage progression on all active opportunities
- Collaborate with Product to surface market feedback, influence API roadmap priorities, and identify strategic integration opportunities
- Represent Zywave at industry events, conferences, and partner forums to build brand awareness and generate pipeline in the API/platform space
Skills
- 5+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding quota

- Demonstrated ability to manage long, complex sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers and procurement processes
- Strong discovery and consultative selling skills to be able to connect Zywave's API capabilities to a prospect's business outcomes, not just technical specs
- Proficiency with Salesforce CRM for pipeline management, forecasting, and activity tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills — able to present to both technical and executive audiences
- Experience in the insurance, insurtech, or financial services SaaS space
- Familiarity with API concepts, integration architecture, or data licensing models
