The Founding Account Executive will own the full sales cycle, work directly with the founder, and play a key role in shaping sales strategy to drive company growth. This role offers the opportunity to join early in a startup and significantly impact business development and revenue generation.
Responsibilities
- Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close
- Run discovery calls and product demonstrations
- Build relationships with marketing, growth, and revenue leaders
- Manage opportunities through the CRM and maintain accurate forecasts
- Collaborate closely with the founder to refine messaging, positioning, and sales strategy
- Provide customer feedback to influence product development
- Help build and improve repeatable sales processes
Skills
- 3+ years of Account Executive experience in B2B SaaS
- Proven experience managing a full sales cycle
- Strong discovery, presentation, and closing skills
- Experience working in an early-stage startup or fast-growing SaaS company
- Self-starter who enjoys building processes and wearing multiple hats
- Excellent communication skills
- Martech, AI, or GTM technology experience is a plus
- Experience selling to marketing, growth, or revenue teams
- Experience with AI, website personalization, ABM, or CRO platforms
- Founder-led startup experience
