They are seeking a Functional Consultant to lead the delivery of Tyler Utility Billing, focusing on municipal utility operations and ensuring effective system configuration and data migration.
Responsibilities
- Leads functional delivery of Tyler Utility Billing for municipal water, sewer, electric, gas, and sanitation operations — customer accounts, metering, rate structures, billing cycles, collections, and self-service
- Configures the system to client rate ordinances and leads customer data migration and go-live readiness
- Configure Customer Information, Metering, Billing & Rate Structures, Collections, Customer Self-Service
- Customer/billing data migration: accounts, meter data, rate history, outstanding balances
- Integration support with AMI/AMR meter reading, GIS, IVR, and online payment systems
Skills
- 3+ years functional consulting on Tyler UB or comparable CIS/UB platform
- Hands-on configuration of rate structures, billing cycles, customer accounts, metering, collections
- Deep knowledge of municipal utility operations and rate ordinance structures
- Experience with AMI/AMR integration and third-party payment/IVR systems
- Strong communication with utility directors, CFOs, billing supervisors, customer service leads
- Utility billing, CIS, or AWWA-related certification
