Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. EdgeLens AI is building the privacy-first, on-device ambient intelligence layer for the smart home. They are seeking a Head of Enterprise Sales & BD to convert technology momentum into customer paid pilots and recurring revenue while building a sales team and developing a go-to-market strategy.
Responsibilities
- Enterprise Sales and Strategic BD: Target-account strategy across smart-home OEMs, networking/router makers, broadband CPE, telco/FWA operators, silicon partners, camera/security platforms, and select AgeTech/care validation partners
- Pipeline from zero: generate warm intros through your own relationships, multi-thread accounts (sponsor · champion · business owner · technical evaluator · partnership owner), and run first meetings, customer discovery, demos, and follow-ups
- Deal execution: convert interest into paid scoping workshops, design-partner NREs, pilots, LOIs/SOWs, and licensing paths; help structure pricing, NRE scope, success criteria, and commercial terms
- Active account advancement: Help advance the active OEM validation toward a signed Phase-1 engagement and build a credible second-/third-OEM pipeline
- The 0→1 GTM system: build the repeatable playbook (ICP, account scoring, personas, outreach, discovery, demo flow, proposals, CRM stages) and keep disciplined follow-up and weekly pipeline reviews
- Voice of the market: translate objections, hardware constraints, and buying signals into product, messaging, and fundraising inputs; help create buyer-ready assets and feed investor-relevant traction alongside the pre-seed raise
Skills
- 5–10+ years in enterprise sales, strategic BD, OEM/platform partnerships, or commercial leadership, with a track record of creating pipeline from zero, not managing inbound
- Have personally advanced or closed paid pilots, NREs, co-development, licensing, or design-win deals (not just SaaS seats)
- Existing, activatable network among product/GM/partnership/innovation/engineering leaders in smart home, networking/router, broadband, telco/FWA, consumer electronics, silicon, home security, IoT, edge AI, or AgeTech
- Hands-on and startup-DNA: you build lists, write outreach, run calls, manage CRM, and close loops yourself
- Technically fluent enough to discuss on-device AI, edge inference, embedded constraints, and privacy with product and engineering leaders
- Comfortable selling an emerging-category product where proof is still being built and the motion must be created while selling
- U.S based; Bay Area / NorCal strongly preferred
- Selling into or partnering with router/gateway OEMs, carriers/ISPs, broadband or smart-home platforms, camera/security, smart home hubs or AgeTech/senior-care
- Early-stage hardware + AI, deep-tech, IoT, smart-home, enterprise AI, or edge-AI startup experience
- Relationships with Qualcomm, ARM, AMD, TP-Link, Broadcom, MediaTek, or telco/FWA device teams
- Experience with paid pilots, NREs, LOIs, SOWs, MSAs, multi-stakeholder procurement, and technical validation cycles
- Experience using Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, HubSpot, Attio, Salesforce, Notion, Claude Cowork, or AI-assisted GTM workflows
