Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Symetra is seeking an HR Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team! In this role, you’ll play a key role in helping teams grow by finding and hiring great talent, collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and ensuring a smooth experience for candidates.
Responsibilities
- Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Manage the full recruitment cycle—from sourcing and interviewing to offer and onboarding
- Guide managers through the interview process and help them identify the best talent
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle
- Other duties and projects as requested
Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in recruiting, HR, or transferable experience from a related field
- Ability to understand client needs and apply strategic, tailored recommendations that drive results
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain structure in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships, leverage networks, and source top talent or resources effectively
- Openness to feedback and a proactive approach to learning and adapting in a dynamic environment
- High level of accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of work, ensuring quality and consistency
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum Internet Speed: 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, in alignment with the FCC's definition of 'broadband.'
- Internet Type: Fiber, Cable (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum), or DSL
- Not Permissible: Satellite (e.g., Starlink), cellular broadband (hotspot or otherwise), any other wireless technology, or wired dial-up
