They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer III to lead the design and optimization of a hybrid network, focusing on secure connectivity and high performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of a hybrid network spanning Microsoft Azure, Equinix data center, remote offices, and remote users
- This hands-on role drives secure connectivity, cloud-first networking, and SD-WAN adoption while ensuring high performance, reliability, and security
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree and/or 4 – 6 years of related experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 6-8 years of related experience
- Strong experience with Azure networking, hybrid environments, and WAN/SD-WAN
- Hands-on with enterprise routing, switching, and firewall technologies
- Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, subnetting
- Routing: BGP (required), OSPF
- Azure: VNet design, peering, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, NSGs, Azure Firewall
- SD-WAN and remote access (IPSec/SSL VPN, ZTNA)
- Monitoring tools (Dynatrace, PRTG, Datadog, Azure Monitor)
- Strong experience with Palo Alto Networks (required/preferred) and other NGFWs
