The O'Donnell Group is a prestigious, privately held industrial real estate investment firm with a legacy in acquisitions, development, and asset management. They are seeking an exceptional Investor Relations Sales Manager to spearhead their expansion within family offices, RIAs, and HNWIs, focusing on raising capital for their industrial real estate funds.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute targeted outreach and multi-touch campaigns to family offices, RIAs, and HNWIs to raise capital for our industrial real estate funds and opportunities
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective investors through networking, warm introductions, data-driven prospecting, and CRM management (e.g., HubSpot)
- Conduct high-quality investor meetings, presentations, and due diligence sessions (virtual and in-person), clearly articulating our strategy, track record, and market opportunity
- Collaborate with the investment team to prepare marketing materials, data room content, pitch decks, one-pagers, and customized proposals
- Manage the full capital raising process, including follow-ups, commitment documentation, and investor onboarding
- Track and report on key metrics such as outreach volume, meeting conversion rates, pipeline health, and capital raised
- Stay informed on market trends in industrial real estate, family office/ RIA allocation preferences, and regulatory considerations (e.g., accredited investor standards)
- Represent The O'Donnell Group at industry events, conferences, and targeted networking opportunities
Skills
- 6+ years of capital raising, investor relations, business development, or sales experience in real estate, private equity, or alternative investments, with a focus on family offices and RIAs
- Proven success in raising capital from family offices, RIAs, or similar sophisticated investors
- Deep understanding of real estate fundamentals, fund structures, and investor due diligence processes
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong networking and connector abilities
- Proficiency with HubSpot, Microsoft Office, and virtual meeting platforms
- Self-motivated with high integrity and a consultative sales approach
- Must be well spoken, publicly presentable and aggressive
- Must be a team player comfortable in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Candidates with an existing book of business or active relationships in these channels are highly preferred
- Familiarity with industrial/logistics sector a plus
