The Lead Federal Project Manager role is responsible for leading projects within the Value Realization workstream that align with client objectives and improve outcomes for the VA’s healthcare transformation.
Responsibilities
- Creating site-specific metrics plans aligned to VA targets to support readiness, adoption, and return-to-productivity goals
- Providing real-time insights, improvement recommendations, and training on Oracle Health reporting tools to sustain site performance
- Delivering advanced analytics and problem-solving training to empower sites in driving continuous, data-driven improvement post-go-live
- Leading the planning, execution, and oversight of projects within the Value Realization workstream that align with client objectives, improve outcomes, and drive measurable impact for the VA’s healthcare transformation
- Working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure the seamless integration of value-driven approaches into the EHRM program
- Leading project initiation, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closure for value realization initiatives, ensuring alignment with VA EHRM program goals
- Defining project scope, milestones, deliverables, and success metrics to measure and achieve desired outcomes
- Driving collaboration across service lines to integrate Value Realization into broader project and program efforts
Skills
- 8–10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience
- Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to build rapport with team members and clients
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to travel as needed
- Familiarity with VA operations, healthcare delivery, and/or federal reporting requirements
- Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
- Due to the client contract, you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
- Prior team leadership or management experience preferred
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Certification in project management preferred (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma)

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment.
