Supporting Loan Officers throughout the mortgage process, the full-time Remote Loan Officer Assistant will manage borrower intake, loan applications, and documentation while ensuring efficient file progression in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
• Assist Loan Officers from borrower intake through contract acceptance, ensuring timely processing of applications
• Conduct borrower interviews and complete mortgage applications over the phone, while gathering and reviewing required documentation
• Provide consistent communication and updates to Loan Officers, borrowers, and related parties, maintaining accurate loan records and pipeline status
Required qualifications
• 3 years of mortgage experience, preferably in roles such as Loan Officer Assistant or Junior Processor
• Experience conducting mortgage loan applications over the phone and strong income calculation skills
• Proficient understanding of mortgage guidelines and various loan programs, including Conventional, FHA, and VA
• Ability to review online applications for accuracy and identify necessary supporting documentation
• Familiarity with Salesforce, LendingPad, and Microsoft applications; NMLS license appreciated but not required
