They are seeking a Logistics Analyst responsible for coordinating the movement of materials and ensuring compliance with trade regulations, while collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Administer RMA’s, customer paid repairs, repairs for stock, planning and forecasting
- Participate with Logistics and Veeco Supply Chain team to ensure compliance to all international and trade regulations and support implementation of any procedural changes
- Format and publish monthly Key Performance Indicators related to repairs and reverse logistics
- Work with customer service, purchasing, warehousing operations, manufacturing and transportation providers to resolve issues and solve problems regarding repair orders
- Utilize SAP and MS Office products to enter orders, track, forecast, and create/ update metrics
- Assist in creation and maintenance of Return Material Authorizations for customer and Veeco owned materials throughout the entire disposition process, this may include physical inspection of returned goods
Skills
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 2 years or HS Diploma with minimum 6 years of relevant experience is required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills highly preferred
- SAP experience is a plus
