Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Ophthalmology Clinical Research Associate to join a leading organization in the clinical research industry. The role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience supporting ophthalmic clinical trials and ensuring compliance across study activities.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of ophthalmology clinical trials across multiple study sites
- Serve as a key point of contact for study teams, sites, and sponsors to ensure smooth communication
- Ensure trial activities adhere to ICH-GCP guidelines, FDA regulations, and study protocols
- Track study timelines, patient enrollment, and data quality while identifying and addressing risks
- Assist with site initiation, monitoring visits, and closeout activities
Skills
- 2+ years of clinical research experience with exposure to site or sponsor-side trial support
- Ability to travel to sites 8-10 days on site per month
- 2+ years of onsite monitoring experience
- Experience with ophthalmology or ophthalmic studies
- Working knowledge of GCP, FDA regulations, and clinical trial processes
