They are seeking a Performance QA Automation Engineer to ensure performance validation across Guidewire ecosystems for insurance platforms, focusing on scalability and stability for large-scale systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, spike, and endurance testing
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for performance testing
- Validate end-to-end Guidewire business flows under production-scale concurrency
- Ensure zero performance regression across releases
- Identify and analyze system bottlenecks: JVM memory issues, GC pauses, thread contention
- Database slow queries, locks, and indexing gaps
- Integration latency across services
- Perform root cause analysis and provide actionable tuning recommendations
- Work with development and infrastructure teams for resolution
Skills
- 5–10 years in QA / Performance Testing
- Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite
- Expertise in JMeter / LoadRunner / Gatling
- Strong understanding of: REST and SOAP APIs, SQL performance tuning, Basic JVM performance concepts, Enterprise web application architecture
- Guidewire Cloud / InsuranceSuite Cloud experience
- P&C Insurance domain knowledge
- Experience in distributed systems performance testing
- CI/CD pipeline integration for automated testing
