Leidos is an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers, currently seeking a Project Manager to support the FAA's surveillance and radar modernization effort. The role involves planning, organizing, and managing resources to ensure successful project completion while interfacing with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all projects schedules are met and within budget constraints
- Provide timely/accurate responses to all technical and program inquiries received
- As required, assist in budget formulation activities utilizing FAA government databases
- As applicable, author required documents in support of program schedules
- Work independently to achieve day-to-day Program objectives which may significantly impact operational results or program objectives
- Update project schedules as required and provide input to FAA construction managers
- Organize impromptu telecons/meetings to ensure all project maintain schedule and cost
- Utilizing special client databases, provide programmatic input to other team members
- Perform investigations and root cause analysis
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Requires a BA or BS degree and 4 to 8 years of prior relevant experience
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to present ideas to diverse audiences
- Proficient with MS Project and Excel (Macros)
- Prior experience supporting the FAA
- Knowledge of FAA radar technology
- Technical background (Highly preferred)
- Lean/Six Sigma Analysis skills
