The role is designed for an independent lawyer with strong technical training in secured lending and asset-based finance, focusing on complex transactions in impact investing and development finance.
Responsibilities
- Help lead and scale its growing debt practice
- Apply strong technical training in secured lending and asset-based finance to complex, bespoke transactions
- Target a senior candidate with a meaningful book of business
- Offer a more attractive economic arrangement than they may be receiving currently
- Open to candidates who may not be looking for a traditional full-time role
- Meet the billable hours requirement of 1400 hours
- Have typically 10+ years of experience in debt finance at a large or mid-sized law firm
- Maintain consistent firm stability in prior roles, 4 years minimum at each prior firm
- Bring strong training in secured lending, asset-based lending, corporate/sponsor-backed lending, private credit or direct lending
