RG&T Solutions is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead the development and maintenance of security tools, automation, and processes that ensure application security throughout their lifecycle. The role involves managing vulnerability programs, improving telemetry usage, and creating scalable, developer-friendly security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve vulnerability management processes
- Build security tooling integrated into developer workflows
- Utilize AI extensively for automation and analysis
- Assess system telemetry and security posture
- Collaborate with engineering teams to promote secure development
- Respond to security findings and develop preventive systems
- Adapt quickly to changing priorities within an agile environment
Skills
- Minimum of 5 years in software or platform engineering, capable of delivering production-quality tools
- Expertise in application security, vulnerability management, CVEs, container security, and SDLC integration
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP/GKE
- Proficiency in using AI tools for coding and analysis
- Automation mindset—prefer building tools over manual tasks
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and make judgment calls in ambiguous situations
- Experience influencing engineering culture around security and clear communication skills
