HYR Global Source Inc is seeking a SAP S/4HANA Materials Management & Warehouse Product Owner/SME to support warehouse operations in an asset-intensive oil and gas environment. This role involves acting as the voice of the business to ensure SAP solutions align with operational realities and requires significant onsite engagement and travel to support process design and user adoption.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary product owner for SAP MM, IM, and EWM capabilities supporting warehouses, maintenance, and project teams
- Represent operational priorities and constraints with SAP delivery, integration, and sustainment teams
- Own the functional backlog, enhancement intake, and prioritization across materials and warehouse domains
- Provide subject matter expertise in SAP S/4HANA for MM (procurement support, material master), IM (stock management, physical inventory), and EWM (inbound/outbound processing, staging)
- Support and guide design decisions for embedded or decentralized EWM implementations
- Lead onsite current-state and future-state process mapping workshops with operations teams
- Translate operational needs into user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Lead or support SAP deployments, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure business readiness
- Develop and deliver training, job aids, and field-facing documentation to support adoption
- Build trusted relationships with leaders, supervisors, and frontline users
