They are seeking a Research Development Mechanical Engineer to review AI training problems and assess their design and scientific realism without solving them directly.
Responsibilities
• Reviewing AI training problems and research environments built for a frontier AI lab
• Assessing whether problems are scientifically realistic, well-designed, and correctly graded — not solving them yourself
• Each task takes 30–90 minutes
Skills
• PhD in Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to start immediately
• Feedback Skills: Ability to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotation
• Communication: Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting
• Independence: Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting
• Technical Setup: Desktop/Laptop set up with a good internet connection
