Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Elfonze Technologies is seeking an experienced SAP PP-QM / PM Consultant to support their projects. The ideal candidate will lead S/4HANA implementation and migration, configure SAP processes, and provide Application Management Services support.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end S/4HANA implementation and migration projects (Greenfield, Brownfield, and selective data transition approaches) for the PP, QM, and PM modules
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and SAP configurations
- Configure and customize PP processes — Demand Management, MRP / MRP Live, BOM, Routings, Work Centers, Production/Process Orders, and Capacity Planning (Discrete, Process & Repetitive Manufacturing)
- Configure QM processes — Quality Planning, Inspection Lots, Results Recording, Usage Decisions, Quality Notifications, Certificates, and Batch Management across procurement, production, and sales
- Configure PM / EAM processes — Technical Objects (Functional Locations & Equipment), Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance, Maintenance Orders/Notifications, Task Lists, and Maintenance Planning
- Drive integration of PP-QM-PM with MM, SD, CO, and WM/EWM modules to ensure seamless cross-module data flow
- Work with S/4HANA innovations such as the Business Partner concept, MRP Live, aATP, and Fiori apps for manufacturing and maintenance
- Perform system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
- Execute data migration activities, validation, and reconciliation during the S/4HANA conversion
- Prepare functional design documents, configuration documents, test scripts, and end-user training material
- Provide cutover support, hypercare, and post-go-live production support, resolving incidents and change requests
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, ABAP developers, and technical teams to deliver custom developments (RICEFW)
- Provide SAP AMS (Application Management Services) support by managing Incidents, Service Requests (SR), and Change Requests (CR) within agreed SLA timelines
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and permanent problem resolution for PP-QM-PM related production issues
- Handle ticket prioritization, categorization, and escalation in line with ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes
Skills
- 5–7 years of relevant hands-on experience as an SAP PP-QM / PM functional consultant
- Minimum of 1–2 full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
- Strong configuration expertise across PP (Discrete/Process/Repetitive), QM, and PM/EAM
- Good understanding of manufacturing, quality inspection, and maintenance processes and master data
- Knowledge of S/4HANA innovations — Business Partner, MRP Live, aATP, and relevant Fiori apps
- Solid understanding of PP-QM-PM integration with MM, SD, and CO
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Waterfall delivery models
- Proven experience in SAP AMS / Support projects delivering SLA-based support for Incidents, Service Requests, and Change Requests
- Working knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow / SAP Solution Manager / Remedy / JIRA
- Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, gap analysis, blueprinting, and Fit-to-Standard workshops
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Sciences, or a related field
- SAP PP / QM / PM (EAM) / S/4HANA Manufacturing certification
- Exposure to Batch Management, Variant Configuration (LO-VC), or Serial Number management
- Knowledge of PP/DS, DDMRP, or advanced planning
- Experience with Mobile Asset Management, GIS, or IoT/Predictive Maintenance
- Knowledge of WM / EWM and logistics integration
- Understanding of ABAP debugging to coordinate with technical teams
- Prior experience in a global rollout or multi-plant template project
