Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Raas Infotek is seeking an SAP RISE Consultant to manage and support SAP application services. The role involves system administration, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of the SAP environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepares plans for implementation and ongoing system support
- Prepares system documentation and training material
- Provides after-hours support on a rotational basis
- Provides tier 1 and 2 system administration and infrastructure related support and management for the SAP application services (i.e., Basis, Portal, BI, Netweaver)
- Performs daily administration, monitoring, troubleshooting and tuning of a complex SAP environment
- Responds to and resolves infrastructure-related Incidents and Problems
- Monitors and evaluates overall system performance and day-to-day system activity on servers
- Analyzes production and test system Problems, determines causes and takes timely corrective action
- Works with the Unix Administrator on capacity planning and performance tuning
- Ensures changes are performed within change control process for the application and architecture
- Creates and maintains accurate documentation
- Provides support to the SAP application team during development and implementation
- Provides support for disaster recovery as required
- Configuration and set-up of printers
Skills
- A minimum of 6 to 9 years of progressive SAP Basis Administration experience, including experience performing SAP implementations, upgrades and SAP support pack projects
- Experience with SAP ERP/ECC environment
- Experience with BW, XI, Portal, SCM/APO, SRM, CLM, EH&S, CE environments
- Understanding of SAP Java systems environment
- Experience with solution manager and OSS
- Experience with TMS (Transport Mgmt System) modules
- Knowledge of AIX/DB2 database administration
- Knowledge of good system management principles is required
- General knowledge of other operating systems such as Windows
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service

- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
