The ideal candidate will assist senior team members in maintaining secure and compliant enterprise environments, focusing on automation efforts and database security reviews.
Responsibilities
- Support security assessments and compliance audits
- Assist with NIST 800-171, DFARS, and SOX compliance activities
- Review access controls and user permissions
- Participate in vulnerability assessments and remediation tracking
- Support database security monitoring and reporting
- Document security procedures and compliance evidence
- Assist with automation initiatives for security and compliance processes
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and database teams
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 2-4 years of security, compliance, audit, or infrastructure experience
- Knowledge of NIST, SOX, and cybersecurity fundamentals
- Familiarity with databases and enterprise applications
- Experience with security tools and reporting platforms
- Security+, SSCP, or similar certification
- Exposure to scripting or automation tools
