[Remote] Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trident Consulting is seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer for one of our clients in Durham, NC or Remote. The role involves leveraging extensive cloud infrastructure engineering experience to build and maintain secure and reliable cloud systems.

Responsibilities

• 10–12 years experience in cloud infrastructure engineering
• Strong expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation
• Hands-on coding skills in Python, Go, and Ruby for platform development
• Experience building and maintaining large-scale cloud and hybrid environments
• Deep understanding of FedRAMP High, DoD IL5, GovCloud, and FIPS compliance
• Strong API integration and Infrastructure-as-Code automation capabilities
• Proven ability to implement secure, reliable, and observable cloud systems
• Experience with vulnerability management and cloud security controls
• Comfortable working across distributed systems and regulated environments

Skills
