They are seeking a Senior Engineer to balance AI-assisted development with disciplined software engineering, ensuring the creation of superior products through effective integration of AI tools and technical specifications.
Responsibilities
- Hybrid Development: Transition effectively between rapid AI-assisted iteration and disciplined, manual engineering throughout the feature lifecycle
- Tooling Integration: Utilize Amazon Kiro as a primary driver within the AWS environment while remaining proficient in the broader ecosystem, including Cursor and GitHub Copilot
- System Architecture: Design and maintain modular, readable structures that AI agents work within to ensure clarity for human colleagues
- Prompt & Spec Engineering: Author high-quality technical prompts and formal specifications to minimize hallucination and maximize logic accuracy
- Code Quality Control: Act as the final auditor for all AI-assisted contributions to ensure they meet internal standards and security protocols
- Testing & Documentation: Employ Test-Driven Development (TDD) and write clear technical documentation to serve as the source of truth for AI tools

Skills
- 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience
- Experience with Java, Python, Node.JS, and JavaScript
- Experience building and shipping products using AI-assisted engineering disciplines or 'vibe-to-spec' workflows
- Pragmatic Engineering: The ability to prioritize stability and performance over speed, while still utilizing AI to accelerate the development lifecycle
- AI-Native Tooling Mastery: Advanced proficiency with Amazon Kiro, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, coupled with an understanding of the broader AI-agent ecosystem
- Full-Stack Architecture: Strong grasp of CS fundamentals, including system design, API architecture, and database management (SQL/NoSQL)
- Analytical Thinking: A deep-seated need to understand the 'why' behind generated code; ability to debug and optimize complex logic manually
- Testing & Documentation: Mastery of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and the ability to write precise technical documentation that guides AI tools
- AWS Proficiency: General comfort navigating AWS services and managing cloud deployment pipelines
- Experience with various AI-native agents and emerging IDEs
- Active involvement in the AI-engineering community or a portfolio showcasing AI-augmented projects
